The Office of International and Latino Affairs for the Mayor of Indianapolis works to engage, support, and invest in Indianapolis’ minority populations.

 

The Office of International and Latino Affairs is responsible for developing and managing all International and Latino outreach efforts, working with local community groups to identify and resolve issues facing the International and Latino community. It also develops and maintains external relations with cities around the world on matters relating to international affairs and our sister city programs.

Community

The mission of the Latino Advisory Council of Indianapolis is to provide advice and support for the City’s Hispanic/Latino community. The council works to significantly impact the role Latinos play in making Indianapolis a safer, more economically secure city.

Leadership Development

Axis is an 8-month leadership program designed for Latino professionals, between the ages of 21-28, to develop personally and professionally and to prepare them to engage with civic and community leadership activities.
