Our communities continue to positively strengthen Indiana’s economy with vast entrepreneurial contributions, academic achievements, and civic participation.

The Indiana Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs (ICHLA) is a non-partisan state agency working toward economic, educational, and social equity for Hispanic and Latino Hoosiers, including promoting cooperation and understanding. The Commission identifies, measures and reviews programs and legislation, and researches challenges and opportunities affecting the Hispanic/Latino community. The Commission identifies solutions and provides recommendations to the governor and legislature.

By bringing together community organizations, state agencies, local leaders and community members, the Indiana Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs will be able to provide a thorough annual report to the Indiana General Assembly, which will identify areas of challenge and opportunity within the community as well as possible solutions.
